Sheep Week at Playroom

We had another really great week at playroom. Our theme for this week was sheep. We made cotton ball sheep on Tuesday and construction paper sheep on Wednesday.

Campfires!

We finished off playroom with a campfire theme this week. Happy summer from CFY and we hope everyone has a great summer holiday. Playroom will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until September but there will be drop in playroom on Mondays from 10-12.

Dietician Coming to Playroom

On June 19th, Laura from Sun Country Health, will be coming to the second hour of playroom to discuss picky eaters. We will meet at the library to talk about and answer any questions you have about picky eaters and your child's nutrition. Everyone welcome!

Beautiful Butterflies

We made wonderful butterflies in playroom this week. We used bingo dabbers on wooden butterfly pieces and added a magnet. We also made coffee filter butterflies. Just colour the filter and spray with water. After they are dry, add a clothes pin for the body.

Mini Masters Program

If you're looking for something fun to do, the mini masters program starts on Saturday! It's from 10-11 at the Carlyle Public Library for kids ages 2-6 and their parents. Join us for an art project and fun games. Everyone welcome!
