Alphabet Soup!!

This month, our alphabet soup letter was d. We made dinosaurs out of the letter, had lots of books with D words and learned a new dinosaur rhyme. We also did some fun things on our window. We used markers to colour and put foam pieces into water and then stuck them on.

Valentine’s Literacy Day

This week I had another literacy day so the kids were able to go home with some Valentine's goodies. We made a heart "tree" for craft by tracing their hands and part way down their arm. They then used heart shaped containers to stamp the "leaves" on.

Road to Sochi!

With the Winter Olympics coming up in a couple of days, the theme at playroom this week was Olympics. We made olympic torches and the Olympic Rings. Our snack even looked like a torch. Olympic torch snack Ice cream cone Frozen yogurt Dried mango (to look like a flame)
