We enjoyed this snack at the Playroom on Wednesday morning!
Tuna, drained 1 can
Pineapple tidbits, drained (or peeled apple cut up ) 1/2 cup
Mayo, light 2 TBSP
Hot dog buns, whole wheat 3 (or whole wheat crackers)
Put tuna, pineapple (or apple), and mayo in a large bowl.
Kids can do: Mix the tuna and pineapple together.
Scoop tuna onto bottom half of hot dog bun and make a sandwich. (or place on top of crackers)
Hint: This recipe packs well for an easy lunch. It is great to serve at picnics or at birthday parties. Serve it with a glass of milk for a complete meal!
