This past week at the Play Room….

We enjoyed our Valentines celebrations! With a Valentines story, a famous poem, “Roses are Red”, and a fun heart craft…

Step 1: one large heart for the face, two medium hearts glued upside down for the ears

Step 2: Glue a Popsicle stick to the back of the large heart to make the handle for your puppet

Step 3: add a few more hearts, 2 medium sized hearts slightly smaller than the original ears for the centres of the ears, and one tiny heart for the nose

Step 4: add the googley eyes and four little triangles for the wiskers

And VIOLA, your very own Valentine mouse puppet
