After School Art Class: Primary Colour Sailboats

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Last Thursday we worked on creating primary colour sailboats! All the details were different and personalized when mixing the primary colours.

To make your own sailboat you will need: watercolour paper (90 lbs), a dark crayon or permanent marker, tempera paint or watercolour paint using only Red, Blue and Yellow, small sized brushes, tape, and a board to work on top of.

1. To start, the group used a dark colour crayon to draw the sailboat and background
2. Then red, blue, and yellow were used to paint the pictures
3. Some personal touches were added
4. Finally the tape was removed once the paintings were dry
