Cornerstone Family and Youth

We Started 2012 off in the playroom with Experimenting. We did a simple Milk , food coloring and dish soap experiment. Kids have pretty imaginative minds and love asking questions. Try it at home with your kids and I bet they will love it and have a blast. Afterwards we let the kids go crazy with paint brushed and paint away on some paper! Take some pictures of the experiment while it happens like the one posted and even frame it on your wall to remember the fun that was had.

Materials:
- Whole milk

- Food colouring

- Bowl

- Toothpick

- Dishwashing liquid

Instructions:

Pour enough milk in bottom of dish to cover bottom, add drops off different colors then drops of dish soap and watch the colors dance! so amazing.

We have started off 2012 with some new changes and new faces! Stay tuned for these changes that will be posted in the next week or so!  We are optimistic and ready for change and new success with alot of hardwork and dedication and would love to Welcome all the new people that have joined our CFY family and can not wait to move forward full force! I would also as the new Coordinator like to send a huge thanks and appreciation to Jen Sedor for all her hardwork and 100% dedication she has given to CFY! I now have a new view on how much dedication she has given to these wonderful programs and hope to continue to have these programs avaliable to this community, and hope to run it just as well as she did! THANKS JEN you are the BEST!!!!

We had a fun filled couple of playroom days. The playroom was full of Christmas cheer!  From the cute snacks provided by some moms, the fun crafts that can be hung on the Christmas trees, Christmas carols, and a good old book about Santa!

2011 has been filled with many fun days and we are looking forward to what 2012 will bring!
